What Our Clients Have To Say
We started our journey with Doggypaddle in 2006 with our GSD Abby who at 9 years old was diagnosed with degenerative myelopathy, she was given a bleak prognosis but we were advised to try hydrotherapy. With Doggypaddles help she lived to age 14. We have continued our journey with 6 more GSD;s training for shows and trials. I have the utmost trust in Doggypaddle to help us through any difficulties that arise in their development while training.

After botched hip surgery one of my dogs went lame. As a last-ditch attempt to save his life, I was referred to Doggypaddle. Percy was admitted and, within 2 weeks, he started walking again. Once his wound had healed, he started swimming. That was 20 years ago. Ever since then, all my dogs go to Doggypaddle for weekly exercise (swimming and underwater treadmill) and a range treatments from Alison and her compassionate therapists. I highly recommend Doggypaddle for their exceptional service to pets.

Doggypaddle provided such a good assessment and she designed a plan with swimming and exercises and my dog lived a very happy, healthy and active long life without being operated on. My other Shepherd joined in the swimming and showed such an improvement in his strength that I have continued all these years with all my dogs.
As sports dogs they have, through the years, had problems and injuries but as a result of their strength and power from swimming and the underwater treadmill have overcome these very quickly. The staff during the years at Doggypaddle have been fantastic – caring, observant and very hands on and always willing to go the extra mile for the animals.
Thank you Alison and all the Doggypaddle personnel for taking such good care of my dogs.

Jack was quite sick last year and he had to have a big operation, I didnt tell anyone at Doggypaddle that he was at the specialist facility. When Allison and Michaela saw him, they quickly got him out, started some extra post of care as well as some extra special TLC. Even though Tia didnt see Jack, she was devastated and commiserated with me and wished Jack a speedy recovery. Daily photos and updates were sent.
I want to thank Doggypaddle for the special attention they give not only Jack but all their patients and the extra mile everyone goes at the practice.
